weirdo!

I was tagged by nemo and sara with no h to do this meme and list 6 'weird' things about myself..

1. I once killed a deer. I drove right into it, and I could swear our eyes locked right before impact. I remember perfectly those big deer eyes looking into mine - begging me not to hit it..
eeks!

2. I have this annoying habit of leaving dirty kleenex and dirty socks EVERYWHERE - under my bed, under the table, in the sofa, under my cover, over my covers, behind my computer, in my pockets, in my purse, under my pillow..

3. When i go to the supermarket or to the pharmacy, i always feel the need to walk up and down every isle (OCD much!?)!! Even if I know what i want to buy, and I know where I can find it, I'll still usually make a quick run through the other isles - (from one end of the store to the other!)

4. I have a serious taste aversion/phobia/hate of lentils.

5. I've used a netipot, and it was kinda.. interesting :)

6. I can't really tell my left from my right. If I take the time to think about it, I'll work it out, but on the spot it's impossible. They can both feel like a left or a right! (this is a problem when I try setting the table, hiking, skiing, playing pool... anything where I need to pick a hand (or foot) ends up confusing me!!

and now it's my turn to tag 6 more bloggers .. tell us about your weirdness ..

Ha, I nearly killed a Kangaroo doing 110 KPH last night!

How often can you show off about that???

Canadians kill deer daily...

I can't really tell my left from my right.

This happens to me all the time. I almost failed my driving test because the tester said, "make a left" and I put on the right blinker and was about to turn right. It's awful...but I was never "taught" right from left.

ummmm. there's a really simple trick for identifying left from right, i'm sure you've heard... if you hold your palm away from you and stick out your index and thumb they make an L on the left hand...

but you're still a kwerk. love emilia

3 - cos u never know what you might find!

4 - same! (i didn't remember to put it in my wierd list) I think it's to do with the texture. it's icky.

5 - yep. interesting. but gee, now i can breathe!

6 - same. similar story to jameel although there was a bus in the way and the instructor had to grab the steering wheel. have to really think about which side is which when asked. although i'm not the only one in my family with that problem! have tried the trick that emilia said but it still requires thinking and sometimes when driving, there isn't that much time!

but to quote a friend "don't be normal, be yourself"

:)

nuch a chosid..
how judgemental of you.. you dont think i like good in that picture?

nemo..
a kangaroo is definitely way cooler than a deer. btw i killed that deer in upstate ny, i guess deers know better than to come up here..

Jameel @ The Muqata..
it makes me feel so good when i hear of others who cant tell their left from their right! i dont know if its an issue about being taught, im old enough to teahc it to myself, its just something in the wiring that doesnt seem to work well!

emilia cataldo..
my most beautifulest emilia! im so happy to see you here :)
of course i know that trick, but trust me.. it doesnt help! if i have the time to think about sticking my hands into weird positions to figure out my left from my right, i have the time to think about it in my head, my problem is when i need it without thinking..
ive tried all the tricks!
the only thing that works is wearing a watch on my hand, and even with that i need to keep checking!

hey emilia, i dont knwo if you have a blog but if not, i'd love to hear 6 weird things about you, you can post them here :)
(only 6 though!) :)

3 - exactly!! (and you might get lost and disoriented!)
4 - amazing, we seem to have the same issue with food texture :)
5 - a fellow neti-pot experimenter :)
6 - i agree about the trick.. it helps.. in theory :) under pressure i cant even remember how to hold my hands!

thanks :) did you guys like the song?

duby..
thats not nice, making fun of my picture..

kasamba..
quirky, weird and cool.. awesome!

Pragmatician..
i was once on this repelling/hike type thing and i had someone tell me where to stick my left foot or my right foot to get down, and under pressure i just kept freezing up, so we eventually tied a black bandana on one of my ankles and he would just yell out, bandana in here, sock in there (instead of left and right!) and it worked (or else i'd still be stuck up on that cliff!)
see how resourceful we can get:)

When I was younger and I didn't know whether to turn left or right, I would hold up my hands and make an L with the thumb and index finger. **Jameel, I wouldn't suggest trying this on a drivers test.** The side that makes the L facing you is the left. Of course then half the time I got confused on which way the L went...

Very cute M00ks! Loved the whole thing. Did it take much thought? As soon as I was finished with mind I thought of 100s of different things that sounded more weird than what I posted.

Oh and what a great song!

Love this trick with the bandana and sock.
Very creative and as I understand it effective.
